Puerto Vallarta, 2021. Full remodel of an existing bungalow, including architectural drawings, permits, project management, structure, systems and finishes.
The original building had no surviving drawings, so the project began by surveying what was there: real dimensions, structural system and service routing. Without that step, any budget would have been an optimistic guess.
The result keeps the bungalow’s character — palapa roof, domestic scale, direct relationship with the courtyard — with entirely new systems and finishes.
